RIGHT: One of my officemates, J holding 2 Philippine flags. They were given to him for free
after buying some medicine from
a clerk in Mercury Drug whom at the spur of the moment, he greeted "Happy Independence Day!"
LEFT: We put the flag outside the car window for a while. We had to take it down because of the noise, and also, we were afraid for it to get blown by the wind and be gone forever.
The picture on the right was taken at Shangri-la Plaza, where I had lunch with my officemates.
The picture on the left, I took when we were driving along EDSA, on our way home.
