Day 342 - Sheep Souvenir

You'd think that on my 4th time in New Zealand, I would no longer find these sheep souvenirs interesting, but I still do! Because look! It's so cute! And it was on sale!

Anyway, I put him on the trolley while we were on our stopover at Singapore so he could see the Changi Airport, which in my opinion is the best airport in the world.

Fat sheep!!!

Day 273 - Dispose or $400 Minimum Fine

Because I don't have $400, which is the fine that New Zealand will charge you if you bring in food to the country, I tried to finish eating my half a hokkaido dome before going through Immigration at the Auckland airport.

Sadly, I was not successful and had to throw a third of it away :( I was however, successful at taking a photo of myself eating bread, by using only the timer function of my camera. I set it on the bench across the room. There wasn't anyone around so I knew I could take a photo like this. I think it turned out okay.

Day 268 - Leaving

We took my sister and her fiance to the airport today so they could go back to New Zealand. This is my sister with her usual facial expression :P It's most probably due to the heat.

Day 93 - Airport

We left the house at 4:30AM today to take my brother to the airport for his flight to Philadelphia. He'll be in the U.S. for several days, including my birthday, so I'm hoping he remembers to get me a really nice present.

Day 66 - Taking Pictures at the Tarmac

PLEASE AVOID TAKING PICTURES AT THE TARMAC - says the voice over the intercom before you're allowed to alight the plane. But being naturally pasaway, we take pictures anyway.

I suppose this isn't an original shot considering that airlines have found a need to remind people not to do this as much as they remind people to stow their tray tables and keep their seats upright when preparing for landing, but it's really fun to see people so excited as soon as they've landed on a place they've never been to. I mean, what fun is traveling after all, if you don't have photographs documenting the whole thing?

These are L (with the camera) and K, by the way. 2 of my former officemates but friends until present ;)
