Day 327 - Firework

We watched the fireworks for the Petone Carnival from a clearing on one of the nearby hills. I don't have a technologically advanced camera and I didn't bring a tripod for the occasion, but I think this shot turned out pretty good. Even if you can clearly see what movement my hand made when I took the shot. :P

Day 254 - Blue Building

I don't even know what building this is. But it looks great from the window of the Power Books store in Greenbelt 3. Lovely shade of blue that is.

Day 232 - Shoe Chandelier

It felt like a different experience to go to the mall today because I was looking for something quirky that could be my Photo of the Day. I took pictures of a bunch of stuff but this one takes the cake. It's a shoe chandelier! I don't even know if there are actual lights in that fixture or if it's purely decorative. Oh well.

I saw this at Landmark in Makati.

Day 216 - Sunday Night Lights

Second day of training for my new job in Makati. On a Sunday. And at 9PM. (IKR?!) Hence, CBD's streets are semi-deserted and you have time to take in the scenery.

I only used my cellphone camera for this one so the lights are just bright spots. Can you tell which spot is the moon?

Day 35 - Pseudo Stars

Extreme close-up of stars night light

A guy friend from the office asked for my help (and 2 other officemates) to turn the meeting room into a romantic dinner venue. I thought, "Why not use this night light that simulates stars in the sky?"

Unfortunately, it only works when a room is pitch black, and obviously, if they're going to be eating dinner, they're going to need a brighter light. My lighting "skills" weren't wasted though because we ended up using another one of my lamps (with yellow light). Bright fluorescent lights are just not romantic.

BTW, this night light was a gift to my parents from my brother. He bought it in Japan.
