Day 279 - Professor McGonagall

The neighbor's fat, fluffy cat was in our backyard today, looking directly at me through the window. My sister says that it had always wanted to go to their backyard, but never used to because of the dog. But now that the dog is in E's parent's new house, said cat is free to roam around.

It doesn't look very friendly so I didn't dare go near it. My friend said it was probably Professor McGonagall. It certainly is a stern-looking cat, so maybe she's right. :)

And if you don't get the Harry Potter reference, please go read that amazing book. Thank you!

Day 196 - ATC Garden 2

While waiting for my friends J and J, I sat on one of the benches at the outdoor part of Alabang Town Center, which has a playground, trees, some water fountains and where the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is located (you can't see it here, it's on the other side). I call it ATC Garden because I don't know what its official name is. Anyway, it was a beautiful day -- no rain, but not too sunny, and just the right amount of clouds. :) I took this photo around 4PM.

(And shortly afterwards, two nuns approached me, handed me a camera and asked me to take a photo of them. Maybe they're from the north and it's their first time in ATC?)

Day 154 - Welcome Spring

Yet another item at our house. Am I treating our house too much like a tourist destination, taking pictures of every corner or novelty item? That's because I'm here all the time and so I've forced myself to think interestingly of things that I see everyday.

This is a sign in our garden. We don't really have Spring season in the Philippines, but we have the decorations for it. What, that's not weird.

Day 74 - ATC Garden

Had the chance to go out today (I forget why) so I did all I could in ATC. I saw a movie (Step Up 3D -- It was pretty good to see in 3D :) ) and hung out at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf coffee shop.

This is the view from the window beside the table where I sat. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is located right in the middle of this open area of the mall, where there's a garden and a playground.

Day 73 - Rainy Garden

I've been indoors for the past few days not just because I don't have work anymore* but because it's been raining everyday. This is our "garden" at home. As you can see, the floor is wet.

*I really should stop talking about my unemployment. It's not something I should be proud of.
