Day 41 - Sampaloc Lake

I went swimming with some friends at a resort in Pansol, Laguna. Afterwards, we went to D's hometown of San Pablo, which is famous for having many lakes. This one is called Sampaloc Lake. I think it's the biggest and most accessible one, given that there's a path around it that you can walk/ride a bike on. I took this photo while we walked on that trail. I don't know the name of the mountain, though. And it's too bad it was cloudy. It actually rained hard that night. Luckily it didn't start until we were finished walking the trail.

Day 323 - Off the Beaten Path

At one point, my mom mentioned that her favorite parts of our trip was when we went to the places that weren't tourist areas. One such place is this one, which we only found because we got lost. I honestly don't know what part of Rotorua this is, but we got there at sunset and it looked amazing.

Day 321 - Looking at the Lake

My aunt looks out at Lake Taupo, for obvious reasons.

We stopped by the side of the road to take photos and lucky I got one that's so emotive. Of course, in reality we were being noisy talking about nonsense things. :P
