Day 361 - Christmas Around the World

On Christmas Day, we took advantage of the 7-day-free-trial of a paid account of Skype and did a video conference with my sister and cousins, who are in different countries (NZ, HK) and city (Makati). There were time delays with the audio and video, but still I think it was fully awesome! :D

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Day 350 - New

Snapshot of my desk in my new office. Already a mess and it's only my second day. Oh well.
---

Also, only 15 more days to complete this 365 project. Does this mean I have to pick the photos I post here really well? I guess only time will tell.

Sorry about that cliché.

Day 297 - Laptop on Loan

Because I am poor, I have to borrow my sister's fiance E's laptop while I'm here. Lucky for me, he's got laptops coming out of his ears, so lending me this one for a few months doesn't interrupt his computer needs. At least, I hope not. Points if you can tell what movie is currently playing (not many points though because it's kind of obvious).

P.S. I think the red wall background is quite good for photo shoots. Maybe.

Day 289 - His and Hers Laptops

My sister Z and her fiance E, both engrossed in their laptops. This happens a lot. :P

Day 252 - Useful Freebie

When my mom attended a conference in Tagaytay 3 weekends ago, she got a bunch of freebies from different companies. This 2GB flash disk is one of the more useful ones, although personally I like all the pens and notebooks and post-its and notepads, even if they have bank names or computer company logos all over them.

Day 78 - More Stuff I Don't Understand

I went to the mall with my dad today to buy power cables for this UPS. I took this picture to know exactly what kind of cable I'd need to buy. Because I'm such a technology idiot (or perhaps, a general idiot), I need pictures like these.

The bells and other various stuff at the top are souvenirs that my mom's collected from her travels. They're displayed on one of the tables at home where I temporarily placed the UPS.

Day 77 - Power Board

After shelling out Php2510, I get to keep this cool-looking broken powerboard. Oh, and my computer's monitor is now fixed, too.

Day 65 - Where's My Monitor?

After 2 years and 5 months, a part of my computer finally gave up on me. Unfortunately, it's the entire monitor. It won't turn on even if I change the cable and plug it into different sockets, so I guess it's going to need some official repair. My dad finally took it out of my room and put it back into its box to take it to the service center, except that the service center has just told me that they don't actually "receive" units and are supposed to pick it up themselves.

Grr. Don't you just hate it when things give up on you and you have to go through this tedious process to have it fixed? :(

P.S. I'd apologize for the mess, but who will I be kidding? My desk/work station/computer table/life will be messy whatever I do anyway.
